Tips to Mix & Match Everyday Look

Hello my lovelies…. today’s post is on my favourite favourite fashion thing to do…. no no….not shopping but making your wardrobe look like you have 3 times more clothes than you actually do…well if you do the math and understand permutation and combinations then it’s way way more than just thrice…..YUP!!!…you heard….ooopppsss! …you read right…

If math is not your thing and just fashion is still this should interest you. My previous post on styling my White shirt dress with velvet Pyjama Pants was one in the series…. that I so feel about….and today is an extension of the same…..If you always wear a combination in a certain way only…..always…. then its time for this style coach to give you more ideas.

I have these beautiful cotton silk printed pants which I wear in a different way almost always, the trick is simple and the magic mantra is mix and match….. Borrow an element that is an extension or is a compliment of one garment and take it forward from there….and most of the time I hear is ….new pants by the people who have seen me wear this before….besides great laundry skills (…..I have an obsession of taking care of my clothes nicely….calls for another post) it is about how I styled it differently…. Hoping that this photo documentation of how I mixed and matched gives you ideas to do something similar with your wardrobes……

So these Pants in one of my favourite…… favourite colours….Blue… with Indian Prints …I Know that you that I drool over Indian prints and textiles….just can’t get enough in my wardrobe……I decided to pair it with a cold shouldered top in beautiful wine-burgandyish colour….different colour families….both very strong colours yet…complimenting each other…..

I wasn’t done making statements just as yet……Paired them with these gorgeous Jhumkis in silver….timeless…Don’t even get me started on statement jewellery…….hahhahahhaaaa !!!

Since I had put together  bright coloured ensemble with statement jewllery already thrown in and it was day time makeup was very nude neutral…. I wore my trusted Jooti’s and hair tied in a low pony I was ready to showcase the Mix and Match story to you….
